12oz bottle poured into a shaker. This is a very old bottle and probably not so good. Oh well... The aroma is full of alcohol, red wine and oxidation. The taste is actually quite mild with a nice apple twang, being neither green nor too ripe. The body is a bit thick and oily. The finish is lingering and reminds me of apple sauce.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white quickly vanishing head. It has a crisp apple aroma. It has a nice dry apple flavor with a tart apple aftertaste. I haven’t had many hard ciders before this one but I thought it was ok.

Bottle: Pale, light head, retentive. Nose of light apple and sweet musty wood. Sweet thin flavor. No alcohol or fermented taste. Clean, approachable, not good things in a cider.

Nice label drawing of a rhino upsetting a barrel of apples. Hornsby amber draft is a fairly light and dry cider with touches of citrus and grass. Decent, but could use more flavor. This is made by Gallo, which explains why it reminds me of cheap wine.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, but mainly sour and tart apples mixed with some sugar. Flavor is smooth and mildly sweet at the beginning with a sweet and very dry finish. Almost chardonnay-like.

(bottle). Clear, Light golden color. Small white head. Light sour apple aroma. Crisp apple flavor with light alcohol. Avg duration. Smooth, light sour finish. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

(12oz bottle, thanks to mar) Pours a pale yellow with no head or lacing. Nose is crisp apple. Taste is apple, but not sour at all and too sweet.

Drank straight from the bottle. Has more of an actual apple flavor than the crisp apple, but not quite as sweet. Arguably better.
