Dec 27, 2006 Tallahassee, Fl. - ABC Liquors, - 12 oz bottle. Dark golden pour, light white head. Aroma of fresh golden delicious apples, nice. Crisp flavor of golden delicious apples. Very natural. not artificial tasting at all. Very clean tasting and smooth. Nice sticky mourthfeel. Very decent cider. Always thoght I had rated this but after some snooping through the database discovered an easy to find rateable cider!

Nov 7, 2006 Updated: Jan 2, 2008 My bottle says ’amber draft’ so I don’t know if ’amber’ is the same. Smells like apple juice. Tastes like a whiskey cooler blend. Disappointing, not a real pure cider. It’s some kinda mix. Ingredients on label say: cider, carbonated water, dextrose, fructcose, citric acid,artificial flavors, carmel color, potassium sorbate & sulfuring agents....
This product should not even be listed on ratebeer.com’s website. Pretty crappy for a cider, if it truly is one. Will not buy again & I like cider.

Aug 7, 2006 Updated: Jul 28, 200712oz bottle. Girlfriend said it looked "like pee." Looks like apple juice, but not with the richness of a nice ice cider. Smells like apple juice. Tastes like apple juice with water added and sugar removed. No alcoholic burn at all. Pretty thin body. Overall, pretty good. Says ’serve extra cold’ - probably a good call.

Aug 5, 2006 Almost like having a nice glass of Apple Juice with the nesessary alcohol content to give the kick that it needs. Quite light and flavorful

Jun 5, 2006 Dark golden colored, small head, nice carbonation.
Aroma of sweet ripe red apples.
Taste is mostly sweet apple , yet at the end it turns crisp and even a little dry, like most mass produced American ciders though the apple flavour tastes artificial like apple flavoured "Jolly Rogers"
While this is not a greatcider it certainlly isnt disgusting and this one bottle goes down well when ice cold.

May 24, 2006 bottle - Pours golden with almost no head. The aroma is sour apples.. It’s kind of sweet, but not as sweet as the Woodchuck amber that many people have had. The mouthfeel is quite bubbly for cider. The finish is dry.

Mar 31, 2006 Unlike the "Crisp Apple" Hornsby makes, this cider leaves much to be desired. While the overall color is much richer and bolder than the Crisp, everything else is inferior. Overall taste has a sharp alcohol content making the cider a bit too sour for my tastes. Watery mouthfeel with a very bland aftertaste. BUY Hornsby’s GREEN LABEL cider!!!!

Mar 17, 2006 Pours a medium golden yellow color. Aroma is like apple juice not like cider. Flavor is sweet, maybe to sweet.
