Pours a dark gold color. This is definitely not amber colored. The aroma is subtle. The apple aroma is something like an old Jonathan. There is also a little lime juice. The taste is cranberry juice mixed along with some grenadine. A funky taste. The body is relatively smooth. This is not cloying or as tart as the other Hornsby’s.

Golden, with lots of big bubbles. some small white head. Aroma of crabapple and lemon, plus a flinty note. Flavor od sour green apple and lemon and grass. Dry finish.

This hard cider has a great apple taste with a dry finish. There is no strong taste of alcohol.

Pours amber, fizzy off-white head. Nose is sour rather astringint apple. Flavor is suprisingly sweet apple with an artificial alcohol overlay. It does have a dry finish and is not bad for hard cider, but I don’t love it for sure.

I preferred this one slightly over the regular Hornsby’s. This one seemed slightly more complex, with a more balanced flavor.

Deep amber, small beige head. Very sweet carmelized apple cider, musty nose. Starts cloyingly sweet, but it turns very nice and dry. Nice balance, great sweetness, crisp, dry and refreshing.

Pours clear and pale yellow with a small fizzy head that dissipates rapidly. Fruity aroma, sweet apple and hints of butterscotch. Flavor is tart fruits with a lingering acidic finish. Smooth mouthfeel with mild carbonation. Nice, drinkable cider - my wife's favorite.
