The aroma is quite exquisite. It smells better than those scented candles. :) It could be said this is a girly drink, but I like it just the same. It doesn’t mean I like beer any less, just that I really like this one too. The downside is that there are 21 grams of sugar in each bottle...so when you drink it, you’re drinking 21 grams of sugar...but then again, we when we die, we all lose...21 grams... | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2004 Mediocre cider. Taste of red apples, mushy red apples, and alcohol, with alcohol finish and chemical aftertaste, but somewhat tolerable. When taking long sips, alcohol taste is prevalent. Slightly watery. Only good when served REALLY cold (like all ciders). Bottled in a green bottle, but you can detect a faint hind of red through the green glass. PhillyBeer2112 (2087), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Oct 11, 2004 This is slightly better than their regular "Draft Cider" brand in that its far cleaner rather than insipid. Fizzy with faint hints of bruised apple. There are far better commercial ciders out there. willblake (2176), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Oct 4, 2004 10.04.04 12oz bottle. Pours thin and pale like flat brut champagne -- no bubbles. Aroma is sadly artificial, smells like a red candy apple or an apple Blow-Pop. I’ve got one right here to compare; it’s identical. Body is fuller than I expected, but still very wet and quite sweet, like apple juice. There is absolutely no dry bite. None. Mouthfeel is closest to almost flat Sprite. This is nothing more than an apple wine cooler. Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Blech. Another in a long line of American ciders that completely fail to capture the fresh apples and natural sweet/sour of proper apple cider. Very light color, mostly yellowish with moments that make me think green, though I don’t think there really is noticeable green here. Terribly sweet flavor. The aroma is the most likely thing to redeem, as it clearly has apple notes, but the sweetness drives a very much medicinal/childrens’ apple juice drink. I didn’t make it to the bottom of my glass. An embarrasment to the world of ciders. I get so angry tasting this. desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 24, 2004 Not very impressive. It’s too sweet and tastes more like candy than cider. I guess alcopop fans will like it. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 17, 2004 12 oz bottle. Extremely light yellow with a greenish tinge, light-appearing carbonation. Nose of cheap, commercial pasteurized apple juice, like Motts; I have a fond memory of such from childhood, but its not what I’d want here. Extremely, almost excruciatingly sweet at first, with unfortunate late metallic edge. Almost undrinkably sugary. Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 26, 2004 Very strong odor of artificial apple and sweetness. Poured with a quickly subsiding head of large bubbles. Taste was a bit too sweet, but its a cider so I guess its to be expected. Finish was slight tart/sweet apple. Not bad to have one, thats it.
