Hornsbys Draft Cider

Pours gold amber. head is very minimal. Smells of apple and vodka. Tastes of apple and alcohol. Nice dry finish. Pretty good stuff.

~Pours a light yellow with lots of carbonation bubbles and a small white head. ~Sweet candy green apple scent, tart and pleasant, but a bit sweet on the nose. ~Light crisp apple taste, refreshing, not nearly as sweet as scent. ~Light feel, dry, sweet finish. ~This is a very nice cider. Not too sweet like others. Great drink to sip.

Flavor is light apple cider. Sweet up front with a tart dry finish. Watch out for the hangover if you have more than a couple.

Bottle: Light apple presence and a bit sweet. Some tart in the flavor, but retains a mostly sweet apple feel. Nice crisp level of carbonation and even a bit dry.

great cider one day i walked up 2 a store in mississippi when visiting my brother they did not sell woodchuck at all never evan knew what it was and the clerk ask me if i ever tryed hornsbys witch i never but he talked me in to i now alan i thank you it has a great taste of fresh apples and just a little sweat and tart adds to the aroma of fresh cut apples

12 oz bottle from Vons, Bakersfield; Nose of what smells like gala and red delicious apples; sweeter rather than tart; yellow gold with a small offwhite head; flavor of aplles with minor tartness and a peppery spiciness.

I’d rate this probably about the same as the Amber. Good quality but hard to imagine as a beer. Only drink a few at a time. Dominated by a tangy apple presence but it is pretty good.
