Taffy apple aroma that is very thick, with a little vinegar. Nice sour apple flavor with a crisp finish. Very easy to drink, although I feel too many would sour the stomach.
I’ll be trying other ciders at it starts to get warmer as they are a nice break from the traditional lagers after a day of yard work.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 25, 2005 Golden in color. Has a slight sour, yet subtle apple taste. Not bad at all. I have no problem drinking this cider. It’s good. ericmc83 (200), Arkansas, USA

However, I can say that I liked it and wouldn’t mind drinking it again sometime. Fish (439), Kure, Japan

It was a pleasant change from all the Guinness that’s been floating around this St. Patrick’s day. I saw the woodchuck brand at the store too... now I’m going to have to taste to compare. I’m not sure exactly what the distinction between "draft cider" and "hard cider" is other than .5% ABV, and different color label. BeerandBlues2 (3231), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2005 This had a apple cider aroma with a hint of alcohol coming through. Poured with almost no head, and what head it did have disappeared very quickly. Taste was, well, like apple juice with alcohol. Nothing special. But then, what do you expect from E&J Gallo?
