Commercial Description:
A Traditional Pale Ale brewed with malted Two-Row American malted barley and an inclusion of roasted caramel. Hopped Up ’n Horny is craft brewed using generous amounts of American Cascade Hops; both in a brew kettle and a dry hop in an aging tank. If you don’t get hopped up by this great ale, nothing will get your juices flowing.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a crystal clear bright amber color with a half finger thick off white head. Lively carbonation. Very light lacing. Aroma is lightly toasted malt with a touch of hops. I mean a touch. Flavor is also toasted malt with a bit more herbal hops. Light to medium body. No unpleasant aftertaste. Not sure of the age. Probably much better fresh. There’s just not a lot going on here at this point. Drinkable though. Thanks Bill.

Probably the best of the three horny goats I tried, but that said, still not very good. Poured clear amber color with fizzy offwhite head. Aroma piney grass and biscuts. Flavor pretty watery, dry, slight sweetness and a resiny finish, though very mild. Overall, very weak pale ale.

This one poured a weak gold color with a white head. Aroma was a little sweet, grassy, and just the smallest hint of bittering hops. Flavor was much the same as the aroma, very boring, bland, almost like a pale lager, hardly any hops at all. Blah

12 oz bottle. Light gold color, nice head. Some hot aroma with the maltiness. Sweet malt flavor, little hop flavor or bitterness. Medium-light body. Poor example of an APA.

Clear orange amber with a big foamy off-white head. Sweet toffee and biscuit dough aroma with a hint of herbal hops. Citrus hops up front with caramel malt rounding it out. Body is definitely on the light side and it’s a bit watery. It’s a good APA just not a great one.

12 oz bottle gifted to me from a nonRB friend of a nonRB friend, it’s cool that people know I’m a beergeek. Aroma of toffee, caramel, biscuit and vegtabels. Flavor is similar with more cereal grains coming out and a slight touch of grapefruit hops. Thinner bodied with average carbonation that seems slightly watery. Ah, it’s a rating and was drinkable on a beautiful summer day anyway.

Pours a very clear amber color with a medium off-white head and some some very nice lacing. Nose of grassy and citrus hops. Mouthfeel medium and smooth. Flavor is of caramel malts on the malty side with flavors of caramel, citrus hops. Slightly bitter finish. An easy drinking and enjoyable APA.

Pours an expected gold with medium white head. Aroma strong of malt, very mild hops, and grass. Flavor matches well and is refreshing, just nothing I would care to have very often.
