Nov 19, 2009 Who says this is light amber or clear amber?? Mine poured a darker yellow with an ever so slightly off white head. Nose of hops and cookie dough. Creamy, malty, and a bit hopped up on the palate. Not as hoppy and bitter as expected, but not too flat. A bit of a watery finish. Like a light version of Dales Pale Ale.

Oct 23, 2009 not the greatest APA but i still think it is underrated. mild sweetness mixed in with the hoppy favor. very clean finish on the palate. i do agree however that there is nothing unique about the beer.

Apr 29, 2009 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Flanagans in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin creamy top and some nice lacing. Aroma of grassy and citrus hops/zest. some multi-grain malt, a hint of spice and some caramel. Taste is a tad on the malty side with flavors of caramel, some pineapple, a hint of lime zest and a touch of spice. Finish is semi-sweet with a caramel aftertaste and just a hint of lime.

Jun 25, 2009 Pours a very clear amber color with a medium off-white head and some some very nice lacing. Nose of grassy and citrus hops. Mouthfeel medium and smooth. Flavor is of caramel malts on the malty side with flavors of caramel, citrus hops. Slightly bitter finish. An easy drinking and enjoyable APA.

Jul 16, 2009 Clear orange amber with a big foamy off-white head. Sweet toffee and biscuit dough aroma with a hint of herbal hops. Citrus hops up front with caramel malt rounding it out. Body is definitely on the light side and it’s a bit watery. It’s a good APA just not a great one.

Nov 4, 2009 Pours a pale/light copper with a frothy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is very grainy and slightly floral, not at all citrusy that the Cascades that are advertised would suggest. Flavor is much of the same, leaning more toward the malt and minimal hop flavor. Finishes a bit sweeter than the initial taste. Light to light/medium bodied.

Jul 14, 2009 12 oz bottle gifted to me from a nonRB friend of a nonRB friend, it’s cool that people know I’m a beergeek. Aroma of toffee, caramel, biscuit and vegtabels. Flavor is similar with more cereal grains coming out and a slight touch of grapefruit hops. Thinner bodied with average carbonation that seems slightly watery. Ah, it’s a rating and was drinkable on a beautiful summer day anyway.
