| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Amber to bronze in color. Smallish off-white head. Sweet, slightly putrid wet grain aromas. Perhaps a bit of floral hops in the background, but I don’t want to investigate much further. Light sweet grainy start. Actually rather malt. Sweetness carries through all the way to the linger. Just a bit of hops bitterness but not enough for any balancing. Skyview (4090), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2009 On draught at the Horny Hideaway just south of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pours a clear light copper colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring but some spotty lacing and plenty of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is almost non existence. Maybe a touch of caramel malt and floral hops. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, a hint of floral hops, just barely a detection of toffee and light corn. Finish is light, crisp with a short soft caramel aftertaste that disappears to a clean cut flavor. Goes well with the nacho cheese chips at the brewpub.
