Bottle. Smells extremely vegetal, some jalapeno flavor with not much heat. Some spice, with a squeaky, soapy undercurrent. Crisp, slightly watery flavor, with only a touch of heat in the finish. Not what I want out of a chili beer. The first step would be to skip jalapenos and go to a more interesting pepper.

(bottle - 22 oz) Clear gold with a fizzy white head and good carbonation. Aroma is sweet and malty up front with a very nice and inviting aroma of the jalapenos and the mild smokiness of the anaheims. Flavor is sweet and spicy at the beginning. You can definitely taste the fresh jalapeno flavor with the very lightest touch of spice. The anaheims come through near the end and impart a light amount of smoke. Some mild heat at the finish. Was really looking forward to trying this one and it didn’t disappoint. Really good.

Bottle Shared at Ryan & Max’s Tasting @ Pauls. Pours a pale golden body with a white bubbly head. Pepper, celery sticks, hot bell peppers. Actually spicy hot going down, with a green bell pepper lush body and a warmer finish. Nice Vegetable beer.

hoppy aroma...cant tell which one...don’t smell pepper change my mind can smell pepper behind it. clear golden appearance. very smooth on the palate...only the pepper at the end throws it off. Does the job flavor wise.. great hop taxste early...(centennial?) then get smacked with jalepeno at the end. Great beer for what it wants.

Bottle from Village Beer Merchant. Quite lagerish initially, with peppers in the finish. As I got through most of the bottle, the peppers build up and its more refreshing. Grows on you. Have liked more spicey bolder of this variety, and this was not bad, drinkablity is good.

I got in line for this the minute I saw it at Ithaca Brewfest. Golden pour with a tiny head that is white. Aroma is spicy, jalapeno pepper, black pepper and some nice toasty malt and grassy hop undertones. Flavor is crisp and spicey, peppery and some hot pepper that tingles the taste buds. Pretty Great, If you get a chance, try it.
