| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2004 According to the producer, who was serving on the cider bar, this has some crab apples in the recipe, which might account for the noticeably spicy notes in the aroma and flavour. Quite dark coloured for a cider - almost bronze. Rather woody and earthy. Bone dry, but not too astringent. A good effort. This was the last barrel from the 2003 crop. From the barrel at Twickenham Cider Festival.
