Bottle at Cafe Zotte. Spricy with a prickly mouthful. Orange colour. Oaky with a tangy finish. Banana flavour too. Fruity scent and a very smooth, cream taste.

This copper ale poured with a moderate white head. The flavor is acidic and malty with some spices (coriander?). Very dry finish.

Bottle, Paters Vaeje, Antwerp, Belgium, 04-10-06. Amber coloured beer, with a slight hoppy and citric aroma, pleasantly bitter beer with some citrus flavours, but to be honest I was a little bit underwhelmed by this beer.

Orange colour, white head. Aroma is citric (lemon) and coriander. Citric spicy dry flavour. Bitter finish. Kathleen thinks it smells like pizza.

Hazy amber color with a medium, lemonadey head. Aroma of sweetish, caramely malt. Acidic, caramely-malty flavor with brown sugar. Light to medium-bodied, acidic and lemonadey palate with sharp carbonation. Another example of the infamous Belgian Amber ale style, the success of which still remains a mystery to me. I mean, really, who buys this lemonadey, acidic stuff with so many better beers around...?

Bottle. Aroma is slightly more hop aromatic than expected. Clear copper colour. Stable white head. The flavour is nicely bitter, otherwise not that interesting.

wood-brown colour, average withe head. Nice aroma, fruity and spicy with a little bit of malt. Enjoyable bitter and strong spicy taste still fruity. Long dry finish.
