Some light caramel malts, wheat bread sweetness. Weak ftuity hops. Weak but pleasant aroma. Off-white thin lacibg head over dark orange-amber clear beer. Medium wtery body with medium crbonation. Medium acidity and light sweetness up front. Reminiscent of certain altbiers. Finish is medium bitter, dry, a bit papery. After is mild bitter with a dry nutty taste. Overall, a decent beer but nothing spectaular.

Nose is a bit weak, overstewed hops, and faint fruitiness. Palate is a lot better, nice nutty malt up fron, pretty much like a british ale. Rather dry, with a nice bitter finish, which could be a bit more aromatic. As bottled Altbiers (yes, this is an Altbier !)this is a pretty good one ! Classy packaging too !

Dark amber (much darker than on the little picture to the left). First thing to mention, it´s not bitter. Most Pilseners are more bitter. Slightly sweet (caramel?), hoppy. Bitter finish. Quite nice.

Really cool bottle. Darkly amber with sea foam. Caramel and tea aroma. Initial clean, smooth, slightly fat mouthfeel with candy malt coming through, then a warm bitterness. OK - decent quality - the real interest being the warm bitterness in the finish.

Hazy amber color. Poor aroma. Ordinary taste, like many other Dunkel; caramel. Not a Bitter.

Smells like dishwater, but has a nice amber look. The typical taste of beer is missing. Taste is boring and the aftertaste is scratching in your mouth. Nothing spectacular.

Bottled. Copper bronze, creamy white head and moderate condition. Fruity malt, caramel and background hop aromas, more caramel in the mouth almost dunkel like, and hop bitter and dry in the finish. The missing link between German Alt and English Bitter?
