Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is wood, bread, some slight grassyness as well as wet-earthcelllar-like-stuff. Flavour is caramel malts, some sweet wood and mild notes of salt water. A quite nice, refreshing and wellbalanced brew. Hard to tell an exact style for this.

Bottled, swing top (BB 02/2009). Dark chesnut color, steady creamy off-white head, lace. Grassy, slightly caramelly malty aroma. Dark Ceylon tea, caramel, toasted sugar, grassy hoppyness. Kind of altbier-like, interesting, more like a lager than an ale.

500ml bottle from Real, Munchengladbach. Chestnut colour with a huge beige head. Wow, what an odd beer. Not sure what it is. A bitter? Bready aroma, some malt and earthy hop. Is this a bitter, alt, dunkel? Interesting. Not great.. Good hop stinging on the finish. Quite rounded, decent hop on end. If I had this in an English pub I would call it a competent best bitter.

Clear deep amber with a medium off white head. Sweet breadish aroma with roasted malt and caramel notes. Breadish flavour wiht caramel notes. Somewhat strange this one. Not my thing

Half litre bottle. Nose is hay and grass with spices and citrus waiting in the background. Medium bitterness, pretty smooth taste with a light to medium hoppy bite and light sweetness. Drinkable and pretty well balanced too. Cheers

Deep brown color, with a large beige head that leaves intricate lace on the glass. Caramel, toffee, bready aroma. Sweet molasses, cola, flavor with dark tea notes. Light carbonation and smooth. Brown sugar left behind. I love the puffy chunks of head that stick around on the surface long after the initial head is gone.

Bottle at quinns with mesandsim. Aroma is malt dominated, but theres some herbal hops too. Taste is decent balanced stuff, well carbonated and quite drinkable.

It’s a nice red-golden color and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel, The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of caramel, malt, dry citrus, that grows more dry throughout the entire finish.
