| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 18, 2007 Bottle. The aroma is like a dark bread, roasted or burnt, earthly (yeastly). The appearance of the frothy head is very niche with a off-white colour which is long lasting. The initial flavour is bitter, the finish is long. On the palate the body is medium to full with a dry texture (a little bit oily) and a soft carbonation.
Overall this is a positive surprise on the german beer market, the design of the bottle is also noteworthy. A good one! StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England

Soapy, lightly malty, sweet aroma. Lightly bitter flavour, has some flavours of plain chicken wings. Certainly not interesting. Svesse (2650), Hässelby, Sweden

Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of toffee and chocolate. Malty, roasted nose with toffee, caramel, fudge and slight notes of hops in the rather short finish. Fairly dry. Carbonation making it slightly prickly. Definitely not a very bitter beer, but balanced with a rather nice taste.
