Initial clean, smooth, slightly fat mouthfeel with candy malt coming through, then a warm bitterness. OK - decent quality - the real interest being the warm bitterness in the finish.
Overall, a decent beer but nothing spectaular. larsniclas (3384), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Mar 9, 2006 Bottle. OK hop aroma. Grey chestnut colour. Big stable head, leaving lace. OK mouthfeel, seemingly due to the alcohol. Medium bitterness. Not that flavourful, it is mostly alcohol and bitterness. jkbier (24), Kiel, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2006 Bottle. Clear dark amber with a medium off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of floral hops and a bit of malt. Very lively carbonation. The flavor is delicate with traces of roasted malt, caramel, citrus and bitter hops. The finish is indeed bitter, as the name promises. Pleasant palate, although the whole body seems a tad bit watery. MrWalker (927), Stockholm, Sweden
