Commercial Description:
An Oatmeal Stout that is full in body with a sweet, roasted mouthfeel. This ale is smooth and deep in color.

This beer can be very different after every vat. Smokey, malty aroma. rich, coffe brown color, absorbs most visability. The head goes from Zeigen Bock-weak to as thick, lasting, and frothy as swiss hot chocolate. Usually, it’s pretty frothy and stays in the glass untl you’re done. Palate is smokey, coffe, and malt and very thick texture. Two of these, while not posessing a high alcohol content, will dehydrate you - presumably from the caffeine and tannic acid and can give you a serious headache after one tall. It’s weird. I never have more than one before witching to a their pale ale or lager.

black pour thick tan well laced head. Roasted malt and light grass aroma.. avg pal. Flavor is a dry choclate and a grassy bitter swallow. a very blah stout.

Very decent beer, but doesn’t kick you in the face like a stout should. One of my standbys when I go to Hub City however. Sweet flavor, milky texture, not super bitter.

I have to say, I was expecting a "stout".... what you get is a nice tasting beer, that is pretty smooth, and sweet, but not stout! I will drink it again.
