durhambeer (411), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle thanks to the neverending love and kindness of pepsican. A regular Mother Teresa, this guy. Golden pour, mostly clear. Nearly flat, which bummed me out. Wheat and bananas are the main notes on the nose. A little sweetness, maybe honey on the nose and palate as well. With good carbonation, I could have enjoyed this beer.
LilBeerDoctor (501), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 24, 2008 Bottle courtesy of pepsican. Pours a cloudy dull orange with no head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, and clove. Flavor predominantly wheat/bread and citrus, also some melon and other light fruity notes, bubblegum. Some metallic notes. Lively carbonation, very spritzy mouthfeel. Palate is a bit watery. Not bad, probably my #3 of the Hub Citys so far. fredandboboflo (500), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 24, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of mustard seed, citrus, must. Flavor odd with some citrus and plastic. Watery palate. Kind of a mess, but fortunately not too offensive. pineypower (869), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA Aug 24, 2008 Thanks to Pepsican. Pour out a light amber with a small white head. Aroma is of some wheat, and citrus. Taste is a bit watery, some citrus, some hoppiness and slight fruit going on in there also. Interesting wheat and rather drinkable. daknole (697), Plantation, Florida, USA Aug 16, 2008 bottle from pepsican, thanks man. Pours an apple juice color with a few sudsy bubbles showing around the edges of my glass. Aroma is light and sweet...some apple, yeast and wheat. Flavor is sweeter than i would have expected with some hints of spices and herbal tea. I do get some banana as well. Kinda watery, but would be good on a real hot day after mowing the lawn. masonjer (434), Lansing, Michigan, USA Aug 1, 2008 Thanks to pepsican for giving me the chance to try this. Poured clear yellow with absolutely zero head. Aroma was sweet wheat. Taste was quite watery, some yeast, sugary wheat and then it was done. Almost non existent finish. I can’t say that I finished this one.
