Aug 16, 2006 Bottled. Pours a rich garnet color with an ivory head. Caramel, chocolate, malt, and some licorice aromas. Rather thick mouth feel. Dry, dusty malt character with a slight hop bitterness. More chocolate and some fruit notes as well.

Aug 11, 2006 Decent Brownish ale, good full body and bitter flavor, but nothing hemp-like about it. Pretty average, nice label, though, and the concept is an attention-getter.

Jul 27, 2006 An alright beer, not something that I would embellish about. The aroma wasn’t very pungent and the taste did resemble a hemp-like nature but it wasn’t a very good match to the beer.

Jul 27, 2006 Very nice beer. The taste was smooth and left a slight bitter after taste(which was good). The aroma was of nice hops and malt, and possible hemp? Good Medium brown ale.

Jun 28, 2006 THis had a good head.Aroma was robust of hops and malt,perhaps some barley,maybe it was the hemp.Color was a medium brown.Tasted full-bodied,with a bitter after taste.Good beer.will buy again.Why am I hungry all-of-a-suden??

Jun 12, 2006 Not a fan of this beer. I’m guessing they put hemp in this beer? Whatever that tastes like... tastes like a bad beer to me. Malty aroma, flavor was rough, some bitterness. Something not right about it though.

Jun 11, 2006 12oz bottle. Poured a deeper ruby red/brownish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, nuts, and a wet grassy/earthiness. Tastes of chocolate, nuts, and earthy. Thinner body. Didn’t really get a ’spice/herb/vegatable’ out of it.

May 26, 2006 i loved this beer. It was extremly smooth,with a deep flavor. There was virtually no after-taste. I enjoyed the experience of drinking this beer. When i had finished drinking it, i wanted another, but alas that was on the other side of the Grapevine.
