| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Updated: Sep 23, 2008This is one of the best beer’s I’ve ever had. IT keeps things simple, but the hemp flavor in the hopping process rounds out the flavor, and evens out any sharp edges that pop up in dark ales.
ON SECOND ANALYSIS: It’s not bad. It’s just not as great as I thought before. The hemp does give it a nice, non-hoppy bitter edge, which improves complexity. But other than that, not much else stands out on this beer. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 27, 2005 This was a nice dark brown ale that had a good flavor but nothing overall that excited me. I was expecting more I guess my stoner genes where wanting more. I would try this for fun and this is a good herb beer and will give some to friends for fun. egajdzis (3631), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 15, 2005 Poured a reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, light roast, nuts, and citrus hops as well. Taste of more nuts and caramel, with a touch of citrus bitterness, and a dry, schwag finish. I hear that hemp seeds impart a nuttiness to a beer. papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 15, 2005 a decent brown ale, i don’t know what the hemp is all about but this is well balanced, and interesting. i think the hemp is just a gimmick to get hippies to buy this.
