Boring, brown ale flavor, I don’t even see where the hemp comes from here. There are some interesting perfume notes that come out in the finish that almost save this beer but not quite. If you want to make a pot beer make a nice dank IPA, not some random brown ale. SudsMcDuff (1695), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 From the bottle dark copper body, good clarity, smooth off-white head. Caramel malts throughout. Toasty and nutty malt depth. Body is thin and a bit watery, expecting a bit more heft from the crystal malts. Finish balanced out by the hops. Simple all around, but good and sessionable. Bradrcr (781), Renton, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 2, 2009 3/1/09 From the bottle. Aroma is light caramel and roast with no hops, similar to an english brown. Appearance is clear copper brown with a well-maintained off-white head. Flavor is all malt with sweet-sour slightly roast malt dominating an only very light herbal note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture. Overall, quite easy drinking and pretty yummy, a good beer for a wide variety of food because of its light flavors. seanbhudson (54), , California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2009 APPEARANCE:
Pours a brown color with a large tan head that dissipates at an average rate. Moderate lacing. A lot darker then I expected.
AROMA:
Light aroma of toasted malt and a little caramel.
FLAVOR:
Toasted malt and a little caramel sweetness. Finishes with a bit of earthy hops. I don’t taste any weird spices here.
MOUTHFEEL:
Light to medium body beer. Soft carbonation.
DRINKABILITY:
A very easy drinking smooth beer. A bit one dimensional for me. I expected a funky tasting beer and what I got was a mix between a pale ale and brown ale.
