A medium bodied stout. Dark roasted malts. Chocolate and coffee flavors predominate. Kind of sweet. Nicely balanced. Very drinkable stout. Nice and smooth and kind of chewy. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, with a lingering chocolate sweetness. jazz88 (2238), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2002 Bottle. Black with a quickly diminishing brown head. A sweet roasted flavor and a coffee roasted aroma. Smooth and creamy. Much thicker and smoother than the El Toro Negro Oatmeal Stout I just had, but the aroma is not even close. The bitter sweet chocolate aftertaste is very nice. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 5, 2001 First off, if you like Guinness, you should
love this. It has the great creamy
mouthfeel of Guinness, but also an outstanding
full bodied roastiness in both flavor and aroma.
Tending to the sweet side, yet well balanced by
the roastiness. Nice lingering hop aftertaste.
Very well done. Nearly opaque dark brown to black,
dark brown head. DaSilky1 (2016), San Diego, California, USA

Alot of sweetness to it. Reminds me of Samuel Adams Cream Stout. I had this at a Halloween party and only had 5, because the hostess wanted 1. I have not seen this stuff since.
