Commercial Description:
Is smooth and creamy with a head that laces the glass all the way to the bottom. Lacking the bite of highly carbonated stouts, our stout has a rich, full mouth feel yet is not overly sweet. Black, roasted, chocolate and crystal malts give it chocolate and coffee notes.

First off, if you like Guinness, you should love this. It has the great creamy mouthfeel of Guinness, but also an outstanding full bodied roastiness in both flavor and aroma. Tending to the sweet side, yet well balanced by the roastiness. Nice lingering hop aftertaste. Very well done. Nearly opaque dark brown to black, dark brown head.

Dark as hell, aroma was a strong coffee with a hint of cocoa, taste was the same with a lite feel to it,with a definate coffee aftertaste that last awhile a well done brew that lacks nothing.

First off, my man, DarkElf (Stephen) found this in the back of some aisle. I am assuming this is a bit old, but hey now, it sure is tasty. Nice aroma of bitter chocolate and roasted malts. Fairly flat pour, with a developing caramel colored head. Still some carbonation in the flavor. Lots of black patent malts and tasty chocolate. Some oaty velvet, but not much. Very tasty. They should make more of this.

Looks great with it thick chocolate mousse enduring foam. Roast aroma wth a strong fruitiness, a port like nose that's not always well done in this style. Sweet chocolate and charred roasty flavor. Bitter roastiness is noticeable throughout, finishing especially bitter. Great fruit complexity which, like I said in the aroma is often lacking in some microbrewed versions of this style. Nice complexity.

Having this beer on tap is a plus, the head is creamy and the beer, allowed to warm to room (55) temperature really brings out the flavor. Nice stuff.

black color, tan head and great flavor. Coffee and choclate flavors go very well with the maltiness of this stout.

Dark black. Oaty, flavourful and complex, yet smooth and very drinkable.

darkness hides the red..tan clothes the dark..creamy coffee cocoa fumes engulf everything..strong coffee roasted barley loviness splurges from the dark depths..subtle yet firm hoppy bitterness has the back..very drinkable, smooth, and lovely stout with oaty aftertaste..
