5l-mini cask. Light amber-brown colour, slightly hazy, large and very creamy beige head. Aroma of smoke. Malty, slightly sweet and very hoppy in the finish. Pleasanlty smokey, especially in the aftertaste. Well-balanced beer with medium carbonation. Very good!

Aug 9, 2008 (7/2/08) Draught at the brewpub in Merkendorf. Clear deep amber color. Aroma of smoked salami and some hints of pastrami. Sweetish slightly caramelly flavor with a decent amount of smoked meat and some wood notes. Medium-bodied.

Red-brown, copperish colour with creamy head. Smokey nose, that’s disturbed by milkiness. Only light malty with good birchwood smokiness. Pretty short in flavour. Light body.

Aug 1, 2008 The color is very beautiful red-brown and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of smoke and malt. The flavour has a perfect, not too strong sweetness, a very clean note of smoke, a slightly sour note of malt and it ends on a light, citrussy bitter note. It’s quite nice.

Dec 12, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber colour, small to medium off-white head. Average carbonation. Aroma of smoked ham. Very sweet flavour. Strong notes of smoked ham, intensifying towards the finish. Not my kind of beer.
