Bottled. An old gold coloured beer which pours with no head. The aroma is fairly sweet but not overly so, and malty. The alcohol also comes through in the nose. This alcohol continues through into a warming filling taste with a creamy consistency and nice malty sweetness. Found this really tasty.

Bottle, 7%. Almost clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. Quite malty flavour with some earth to it. Mildly hoppy. Pleasant carbonation and good mouthfeel.

Impressions from the Gaststätte:
-A ring of head surrounds the clear golden.
-Aroma is bland for a maibock, a few more hops or honeyed malts would have been nice.
-Hay and honey do appear in the flavor profile, thankfully, ably balanced to an earthy hoppy bitterness.
-The soft effervescence is comfortable, and the malts know how to take advantage of this fact.
-A decent maibock hell, but Klosterbräu makes a much more enticing example, imho.

On tap at the brewery.

Warm golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, flower and hints of alcohol. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, flower and alcohol, maybe a little too much, but still the overall impression is OK.

Hazy golden beer. Malty, fruity aromas with some butter. Tastes sweetish malty, honeyish, some hay and finishes in a good persistent bitterness. Quite nice.

(bottle, from the brewery) Clear golden colour with a short white foamy persistent head. Sweet malty aroma with a light flowery hoppy but also alcoholic note. Sweet flavour, medium body, smooth carbonation. Malty taste with a tinge of honey; moderately dry bitter finish. The alcohol is a bit harsh in the finish. All in all still ok.

Bottled. Golden colour, very little head. Sweet and really malty. Soft and rounded. Sugary finish with low bitterness.

Light golden color, sugary peacharoma. Malty and sugary flavor. Some bitterness. Only medium bodied, lacks fruit and power, so a bit disappointing. (6 3 6 3 10) Bottle: Malt and apricot in the aroma. Medium bodied, slightly alcoholic. A firm earthy bitterness, persisting in the aftertaste.
