Commercial Description:
A refreshing Ginger Beer with a crisp clean ginger flavour. Ginger is known as a natural relaxant, so this beer makes the ideal drink after a hard day's work! Ginger beer is a great accompaniment to most Asian dishes including honey lemon chicken, Mongolian lamb and sweet and sour pork. Pasta lovers, might like to know that the crisp ginger flavour cuts deliciously through creamy pasta dishes like penne bosciola and spaghetti carbonara. Alcohol content of 4.5% Alc/Vol.

Draught at potters. Arrived a hazy pale yellow with light golden highlights and a small creamy head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was spicy and strong with plenty of ginger, coriander and hints of cinnamon in the back. Taste was very spiced with more ginger, coriander, some brown and hints of nutmeg. Light body but overwhelming in spices, lively carbonation and a average finish.

Big ginger flavors over a weak malty backbone. Very creative, not! Maybe good with some Chinese food.

750mL Champagne Bottle: This was a dull dissapointment after the fabulous Hunter Pale Ale. Cloudy orange with an almighty rocky head that stuck.. In the nose there is ginger, but it is very restrained and a little cordial-like. Some pine hop notes too (I wonder if some hops are added?). In the mouth is where this one really hits bottom; weak, old ginger and some soapy malts... That’s about it. Pretty watery and dissapointing.

On tap at the brewery. This is a buzzy beer. Clear light yellow with a pretty white head. Large ginger flowery nose. Not too sweet- nicely done. Finish is very dry and crisp. Aroma is much better than Blue Tongue Ginger.
