~Rich caramel malty flavor with some chocolate and woody notes.
~Medium body, medium carbonation. Malty woodsy finish.
~Good amber. Very malty. Would be nice with more hops for better balance.

Dec 31, 2008 A very solid irish ale. Smooth, nice body. Clean and crisp. Ruby pour, minimal head and lacing. Nice bitterness.

Sep 15, 2006 22oz bottle poured a nice red color with a small off white head. The aroma was mainly caramel malt with some toasted notes. The taste had no bitterness with a big emphasis on malt.

Mar 20, 2004 Light brown color without much head. Aroma of sweet candy. Taste is a burnt piece of molasses. Very little carbonation. Too sweet.
