Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
A Swiss recipe using a special yeast developed by Hurlimann in 1966. Birell was the first low alcohol pale lager.
Brewed in the traditional way, delivering a fuller lager flavour.
Ingredients: Water, malt, malted cereals, co2, hops, yeast.

275ml bottle from Shropshire. Vintage 1997. Quite sweet and fruity. Barely any carbonation. Lot of floaties. Quite pleasant and drinkable. Like a light malt drink. No awareness of alcohol.
