Great dark brown color, malty aroma and taste, no ’cheapness’ detected. Slightly sweet. Admiral (524), Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA

Practically opaque brown beer, dense light tan head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Flavor extremely malty, caramel, some roast and hints of dried fruit. Very faint hop grassiness. Medium to full body. Very drinkable, although I really should savor it slowly since it’s been discontinued. Quite good. Cletus (5059), Connecticut, USA

Was wondering, if it is still drinkable. Yes, it was! Looks good in the glass for it’s age. Very old, smoky aroma. Starts a bit vapid, woody. The finish is scratchy, like wood again, not really dry. Surprising good! khayman70 (154), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
