33 cL bottle as Hurlimann Sternbrau Export Bier. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head. Mild malty aroma. A bit cardboardish flavoured and flat malty to vague bitter. Ends dry and medium bitter. A bit on the boring side.

33cl bottle. Gold, with thin lasting white head. Actually, some Sheps yeast on the aroma, some citrus fruit of the lemon variety. Malt is plain in the mouth, which is a bit dull, but with nice citrus on the end. Even the yeast makes another appearance on the finish. Hey, nice lager.

This was the UK draught version, brewed under license by Shepherd Neame. It’s a bit dull, but dry and clean. Not too bad for a UK keg lager. On tap (keg) at the Three Tuns, Faversham.
