blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA Nov 30, 2006 At least it looks like an ale and gets you drunk for cheap. Horrible pour, decent appearance, nasty flavor, grotesque palate, and even grosser aroma. NEVER BUY THIS.
hitit345 (6), Austin, Texas, USA does not count Aug 20, 2008 This fine American lager has a pungent aroma of cafeteria catsup (ketchup). It appears eerily similar to wild Irish Rose. Appearance is average. The flavor is simply awful. Sugary, you can almost feel the hangover instantaneously. Palate? Let’s just say vomit inducing. Overall a fine gastronomic experience. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 8, 2008 This and that other crap that Miller makes, you would always see the bums carrying out 5 or 6 of these in a plastic bag. Beer that’s good enough for the homeless. This smells like pure diesel fuel and and grain alcohol. Extremely high carbonation masking any flavor this would have, this has a seriously bad aftertaste. I cannot even finish but a couple of sips. kenb (928), Oregon, USA Aug 2, 2008 24 oz can via Safeway. Pours a clear amber with a tiny head. Nose is corn and fusel alc. Taste is like every other pale lager but with lots of fusel alcohol. Body is medium, carbonation is high which is a plus as it helps mask that alc. patrick767 (1396), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jul 26, 2008 24 oz can - I drank this one alongside a Rogue Dad’s Little Helper (their malt liquor) to compare the two and frankly to see if the craft brewer, Rogue, could do better with a style that’s best known for being a cheap alcohol delivery system. The Rogue was $6 for a 22oz bottle. This one was $1.19. It pours clear yellow with a one finger, fizzy white head. It has a light, grainy aroma and a grainy, sweet malt flavor with strong alcohol presence and a harsh palate. The finish is just plain rough. I got through maybe half of it before I gave up and dumped the rest. mar (558), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 9, 2008 pale yellow pour with a ring of white. heavy sweet malt scent. water on the palate and the malts are seriously jacked up.
