I’m catching a hint of oak as well. Light sourdough and sweet malt flavors dominate. A touch chalky and a bit acidic in feel. Dryer finish with a hint of sugar in the linger. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Clear gold with a disappearing white head. Aroma of hops and skunk. Not much flavor on the palate besides the skunkiness. Clean finish. Why do some breweries use clear glass bottles?! hopdog (5609), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 25, 2008 Clear 12oz bottle best before 09 10 2008. Poured a golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of grains with maybe some grassiness. Tastes of, well not too much really; watery version of the aromas. Suttree (2740), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

To me that tradition is insipid, boring lagers, so I guess this fits right in. sebletitje (1986), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 11, 2008 Pours clear golden. Aroma is a strong pils. Not my favourite style, but I gave this beer a try.
I am still trying to find the Caribbean touch? Maybe it comes from the malt or corn that give it a sweet taste.First sip and aroma have a strong grain (barley) note. Fizzy. Just another FBC beer that fallsl short. Please put more thought into the tropical theme, this reminds me of nothing but a bad German pilsner. Boring, next please! nimbleprop (936), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 30, 2008 Scored this as a bonus beer in a trade with daknole. Many thanks! Let me start out by saying, my expectations of this beer were rather low. Clear 12oz bottle pours a hazy, nearly transparent, straw gold with a thin, clumping white head. Aroma is non-existent with just a little bit of dough and a little pineapple. Flavor was better than I expected, very sweet and sugary, corn, pineapple, a bit of hard orangy candy on the end. Finish was watery. Definitely a beach beer but not a drain pour. SledgeJr (2970), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 25, 2008 In the bottle from Beertopia. First of all, there seems to be nothing pilsner about this beer. At least it is in a brown bottle now. Golden color with a medium white sudsy head. I smell a trace of dough, but little else. The flavor is corn and nothing but corn. This tastes similar to the alcopop homebrews that I make with a high amount of dextrose to serve to the drunken Lehn Brothers at parties. Just a lousy excuse for a micro. Stay away from this mistake. beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 12, 2008 This pilsner pours a light orange gold color from a clear 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal and grain, some spicy hops and a touch of skunk. A light bodied pilsner. The malts are lightly grainy and a touch grassy. The hops are slightly spicy and a touch floral. Fairly light in both body and taste. Lots of carbonation, some club soda flavor. To use a sports cliché, it is what it is. A light bodied pilsner. Its light and crisp tasting, there is a little bit of malt. It is better than Corona or Bed Light. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some strong citrus.
