In the bottle from Beertopia. First of all, there seems to be nothing pilsner about this beer. At least it is in a brown bottle now. Golden color with a medium white sudsy head. I smell a trace of dough, but little else. The flavor is corn and nothing but corn. This tastes similar to the alcopop homebrews that I make with a high amount of dextrose to serve to the drunken Lehn Brothers at parties. Just a lousy excuse for a micro. Stay away from this mistake.

Sep 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of daknole. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of sweet malt, some pilsner malt, spicy, some yeast. Tastes of dry pils malt and thin with a citrussy finish. This definitely serves its purpose.

Aug 4, 2008 Slightly hazed straw color. Smallish off-white head. Light, dry grain scents. I’m catching a hint of oak as well. Light sourdough and sweet malt flavors dominate. A touch chalky and a bit acidic in feel. Dryer finish with a hint of sugar in the linger.

Aug 3, 2008 Clear gold with a disappearing white head. Aroma of hops and skunk. Not much flavor on the palate besides the skunkiness. Clean finish. Why do some breweries use clear glass bottles?!

Jul 25, 2008 Clear 12oz bottle best before 09 10 2008. Poured a golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of grains with maybe some grassiness. Tastes of, well not too much really; watery version of the aromas.

Jul 12, 2008 What, exactly, is "the tradition of the famous beers of the Caribbean Islands"? To me that tradition is insipid, boring lagers, so I guess this fits right in.
