Deep dark orange pour with a good solid head that dissipates pretty quickly. Flavor is good balance of malts and hop. Finished strong - excellent mouthfeel. Best of Hurricane thus far - two more to go.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 14, 2003 Pretty golden color with fluffy white head. Not pleasant aroma of sweet grains. Harsh on the palate with only the faintest of hop bitterness in the very back of the finish. Not what I remember from the Hurricane Reef of old. And this label says that Ybor City is brewing it. I bet they changed the recipe. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

Strange, very strange indeed. boto (1336), Granby, Connecticut, USA
