12oz bottle on vacation in orange beach al - Pours amber with a short offwhite head and good citrus on the aroma. Flavor is a nice balance of grapefruit and slight pine with some caramel malts behind it. Well balanced and pretty smooth and drinkable. Not bad in the hot gulf sun!

Fairly drinkable pale ale. A tad bit of citrus on the nose, otherwise nothing of note. Nothing special here, but decent enough to make a session for us Floridians.

Pours amber in color,...almost refreshing just to look at. Scents of lemeons with a tinge of a metallic scent on the nose. Lighter bodied, with a pleseant kick of hops. Taste is a bit muted and not overly-complex, but it yeilds a good pale ale. A quenching beverage on a hot Florida afternoon.

Pours a slightly copper to gold with weak off white head. The head was reduced to a thin ring in under a minute. The aroma has some grapefruit hop notes and slight sugary maltiness. There’s also a slight off aroma but its too faint to really pin down. The flavor has an even mix of grapefruit hop bitterness and sweet sugary malts. On the negative side it seems a bit oxidized and watery. Passable pale.

Thanks to Illinismitty for sharing this one at the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting held in Knoxville, TN on 3/10/2007. Thin white head over a hazy medium yellow body. Light citrus hop aroma. The flavor is lightly hopped with a good balance between the malt and hop components. This is muted somewhat as it shows some age, but has done fairly well for the style.

My Bottom Line:
Weak caramel and withered floral, citrusy hops provide an approachable pale ale glass which ultimately fails to keep me interested.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam skirts the clear light amber.
-The finish is cereal sweet, quite muddled, and with barely any hop presence.
-This is decently carbonated, and cleanly-brewed; just infinitely boring.
-Both quaffability and complexity aren’t reached.
-There seems to be quite a few ratings for this one recently, I wonder if it’s back on the market.

Bottle; no date notched.

Thanks to illinismitty for sharing this bottle at the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting. A slightly hazed golden pour with no head. An aroma of slight malt and a trace of hops. A slightly soapy flavor with a slight bitter not much hops or malt with a light bitter. medium bodied beer that has decent carbonation. Pretty decent beer that is a little heavy on the malt without much hops. Still refreshing and a good drinker.

Thanks to illinismitty for sharing this bottle with us at the Tennessee Spring(ish) Tasting! Poured orange in color with a white head. Fruit aroma with orange standing out but a slight caramel background. The flavor found the opposite with caramel and a light citrus. Medium body and slightly sweet throughout.
