Bottle. Moderate malt note of caramel, light to moderate orange for the hops, light dough for the yeast and hints of honey and butterscotch in the background. Head is creamy, white, with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color starts hazy, but clears up, light pale orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter of medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A little flat overall, but certainly a better than average American Pale Ale.

The Dan Journal #269. Tasted 7/2/09. 12oz bottle. Filtered with an amber hue. Off-white head. Buttery malty nose. Medium bodied and buttery. Meh...

Poured a light copper hue with a pure white head that had mild retention. It seemed to have a corny malt bite to it mixed with notes of sweetness to it. Some notes of bitter hops, but needed a little more kick to it. Palate was light but in a good way it was easy to drink and would make a good but not great session ale.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper body with a one finger frothy off-white head that left some light lacing. Some light citrusy hops overlay a slightly sweet caramel malt base. There’s a bit of a celery/vegetal quality to it as well. The hops are pretty minimal in the flavor, leaving a good bit of sweetness to be expressed. Very sweet for an APA really, there’s a brown sugar or caramel candy quality to it that really lingers on in the finish. Medium bodied with light soft fizzy carbonation. Overall, not a winner. Too sweet for my tastes.

Little to no head to this one. Tastes starts off sweet and refreshing. The beer is alittle watery and the combination with carbonation makes me think of a generic light beer for some reason. Slightly hoppy. Easy to drink but still has some nice flavor but nothing spectacular. Would be good on a little beach bar by the ocean.

Citrusy aroma with some hop notes and a touch of yeast like smell. Clloudy orange color and moderate head give this an odd look. Tastes like a floral grapefruit with just a touch of hops. Not overpowering in any facet and generally pleasant. sort of taste like Florida.

Brought up from Florida by my friend Kayla: Pours bright translucent orange with a little head that quickly departs leaving by a constant flow of bubbles. Aroma is well hopped, some ginger and grapefruit on the nose. Taste is pleasent and creamy. A hint of sweetness initially but that soon gives way to a more then expected hop flavour. Thanks Kayla!

Hazy dark straw pour with off-white head. Nose is citric, with tangerine and hops. Tastes citric, dry, very hoppy, and a bit malt-lacking. Ends worse than it starts.
