Some stale grassy hops in the nose with an almost sour orange funk. Fruity pale ale with apple and orange notes over a caramel sweetness. I don’t have to try this again. Thanks to daknole for the bottle. drpimento (883), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Brought this bottle back with me on the plane from Miami Beach this past summer. The bottle was leaking when I unpacked. We just poured it and there was some carbonation but a bit flat. No lace and very little head. Clear medium amber color. Not much hop in the nose. Mostly caramel malt. Body wasn’t too bad, cept for the flatness. Not much here. eh. alexsdad06 (1136), Ohio, USA

Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small disappearing white head. The aroma has light toffee malt, some citrus hops, and a bit of metal. The flavorhas citrus hops still around, caramel malt, lightly toasted bread, and diacetyl. Decent carbonation, dry finish, the drinkability would be better with a fresher bottle I would imagine. ¾ (5011), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Oxidized nose of stale paper and starchy green vegetal hops. Sour wheat and lactic mandarin orange up front, becoming bitter, pasty and starchy in the back. Meh. APA rating #200. lithy (1855), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 11, 2008 Bottle thanks to daknole. Clear orange copper with a thin frothy off white head with nice retention and sticky sides of lacing. A dry malt aroma and light grassy hops. Taste is solid two row malt, English toffee like flavors, and a nice but light hop bitter finish. IlanMan (850), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Pour is medium copper with a light aroma of stale hops. Flavor has some caramel and malt characters with a medium hop addition. Not terrible. I’d say it was worth the $7.99 for a 24 pack bottles. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Mild malt/hop nose, light copper, small custard head. Taste of malt is less than the nose suggested, some good hops. Light bodied, well balanced. Quite good.
