| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jan 27, 2008 Bottle... Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival ‘08... Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose provides lots of sweet toffee and caramel with only whispers of earthiness and peppery hops; not a good start for an APA. Barely medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Way too sweet and not bittered nearly enough to compensate. Heavy sweetness followed by barely moderate bitterness... as an APA, these elements should be totally reversed. Finishes sickeningly sweet with just a tinge of bitterness. Not a terrific drinking experience for me, and I’m a malthead. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, orange brown body with a quick creamy white head. Sweet yeast and orange hops flavour has a bit of malt and pineapple notes. Medium body. Weird tropical fruit notes. jgb9348 (2500), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Very clear golden coloured body with a light orange tint and a thinnish large-bubbled tan head. Aroma of soap, stale hops, cardboard, malt and very little else. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour up front with some good malt and a bit of soap/cardboard/metal following behind. Aftertaste shows a bit more funk - nothing pleasing at all from this. Overall, a sub-par beer, this one isn’t really worth trying! I sampled this twelve oune bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 11-December-2007. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA

Simply put, this beer is outstanding in terms of its refreshment value. As smooth as the label infers, the finish is balanced with a sweet aftereffect. Appearance is cidery. Great choice.
