It shows notes of the berries on the nose and then rolls through the palate and finish. It comes off as somewhat fake tasting but the ale under it does stand up nicely. hopscotch (5483), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Bottle... Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is of fresh raspberries. There are also raspberries in the flavor, but they aren’t overstated or obnoxious. Low sweetness; moderate bitterness. Light to medium-bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Crisp, refreshing, lightly bitter finish. Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2007 It glugged out of the bottle in a clear copper color with quickly dissipating tan head. The aroma is pretty strong consisting of mostly raspberry extract syrup. I don’t smell much behind that. The flavor has over the top raspberry syrup that powers over whatever else might be there. Certainly this brew could use some semblance of balance between the adjuncts, malts and even the hops. Tastes like a raspberry seven-up derivative. pineypower (1095), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 9, 2007 Had in the Florida Keys, because I wanted to try landshark, but didn’t feel like buying a six pack...so I settled. Pours out hazy light brown with a small head. Aroma of yeast, wheat malt and slight raspberry. Flavor is raspberry with a typical wheat beer taste. Doesn’t come full circle. Great taste... very subtle Raspberry. Not too bad for a Florida brew. Definitely recommend it in the heat of the south. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2006 Hazy dark copper color with no head. Good, strong, sweet aroma of raspberries. Hmm... not so good raspberry taste though. Tastes like the fruit was an afterthought. It doesn’t blend well with the beer and turns into a weird, bitter mess. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 14, 2006 Bottle - I would argue with the Commercial Description given here. Sicky sweet raspberry aroma. Syrupy flavor. If I hadn’t cut the grass just prior to consuming this one, I think I would have felt obligated to go out and do so. BückDich (4847), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 31, 2006 Bottle: Light hazy amber color, thin head, nice lacing. Nose of light raspberry, sweet extract type raspberry along with some light tossed up malts. The flavor is a bit sweet, but is overpowered with the raspberry flavor, but that fake raspberries you get in the instant pancake mix packaging. Finishes light, thin. Eh, a typical fruit beer, nice to see it leaning on the extract rather than the musky wheat like usual in this ho-hum raspberry wheats. Thanks Degarth.
