The aroma was of fruit, maybe raspberry, but more like Eggo waffle, so was the taste. schwaiger (90), Laramie, Wyoming, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2006 Bottle courtesy of Degarth. Poured a medium amber that looked a bit like cream soda. Small, off-white, shortlived head and not very much lacing. First whiff is raspberries, but no hint of the wheat. Some caramel and maltiness appears as the glass warms. Raspberry is the dominant flavor, but there isn’t so much sweetness here that it becomes obnoxious. There’s a little sweetness, but more of the tart, especially in the back of the throat. Soft carbonation. Makes for a crisp, refreshing, drink, though there’s not a lot to this one. Really close to an unsweetened raspberry iced tea. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2006 Thanks to Degarth for sending me this one! Pours a clear dull golden color with a red/pink slight tint to it, white foamy head compacts. Aroma is raspberries, cheap apple cider. Flavor is thin, lots of raspberries. Sweet but not tart on the palate. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2006 12oz bottle-pours a little fizzy white head with light red/gold color. Aroma is raspberry, wheat. Taste is raspberry, dry, wheat. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 22, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a slight reddish tint. You can smell and taste the raspberries in this one. Wheat taste is really faint. This beer lacks something, oh yeah, it needs some kick to it. Rather weak and unimpressive. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 14, 2006 In the bottle. Pours a dark amber with brown tints. Aroma is definitely of raspberries and maybe a little yeasty wheat. Taste is thin and disappointing. raspberry flavor is not enough to mask a burnt strange seed-like off flavor. Body is thin and has a weak palate. Finish is oddly bitter in a non hop way. AndrewM (126), Waco (Buckle of the Bible Belt), Texas, USA

Pours a clear light amber with a quickly disappearing tan head. Aroma is strongly raspberry. Pretty "dry" raspberry aroma, not sickly sweet like IHOP syrup (or certain raspberry lambics). Flavor fails it though, it’s not very strong either way, wheat / malt / raspberry. A touch of raspberry aftertaste. I don’t think it’s terrible, just not something I’d likely drink again. pbird (39), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Dec 14, 2005 Awful. I expected this to be a nicely done wheat like the Sam Adam’s Cherry Wheat. WAY too much raspberry flavor overpowers the way too wheaty taste. No where near as pleasant as the SA Cherry Wheat. I wouldn’t wash my dog with this ass-beer.
