Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, spices - among them licorice, and a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of nuts, leading to a dry finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Red-brown with a dense, nice head. The aroma has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel and a touch of candy sugar. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, a touch of nuts and the body is rather full. It’s smooth, pleasant and very worth a try.
