Sweetish, toffeish, nutty and herbal aroma with notes of juniper. Nutty, toffeish and firmly bitter flavor with firm juniper taste. Slightly astringent palate. Very gassy and thus hard to drink. The juniper gives kind of dull herbal edge. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Sweet berry jam aroma. Lively carbonation, and served quite cold. Slightly nutty taste - full bodied malts and with a decent but subtle bitter hoppiness in the finish. Grassy and piney, and Anna says earthy. A bit of keggy thinness, but pretty tasty. mjs (1534), Helsinki, Finland

Spices and toffee in aroma. Full bodied and bit oily palate with little carbonation. Malts, spices, juniper, bitterness, sweetness and caramell in taste. Slightly hazy reddish brown color, small beige head. Light hoppy-woody-herbal aroma (juniper?) with ashy notes. Sweetish front, some hops underlying, notes of juniper and ash. After all despite of rye and juniper, quite ordinary ESB. Not bad brew, but less exciting than I expected. sayravai (3760), Helsinki, Finland

Mild and somewhat dull, fruity aroma with anise hints. Flavor of fruity maltiness, aromatic hops, and juniper-anisey-cinnamon spiciness, with a bitter, slightly stingy finish. Medium-bodied, quite low-carbonated palate with long, lingering and slightly stingy spiciness. A bit challenging overall, and not very enjoyable. oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland

Half pint tasted rather quickly during a "long trainbreak" (which was helped by the fact they had to fix some small problem). Coppery amber colour, with mediumsized beigeish head. Some lace. Aroma has some juniper, mild mixed berries as well as some malty notes. Flavour has a bunch of berries, and gets very much sahtilike notes kicking in. Mild herbal notes too. This was truly one of the more strange brews from Huvila, but very drinkable. Let’s hope this stays on at the Gastropubs for a longer time. lada66 (38), Savonlinna, Finland
