Beer_2000 (1266), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 9, 2008 500 ml can. Must say I have been looking forward to this one, when an industrial brewer make their own "secret" marketing company, I am always optimistic, but I try not to be prejudiced. The beer pours a quite pale golden body, crystal clear, with a diminishing, dense white head. It’s grainy and slightly fruity on the nose, indicating sweetness to be felt in the mouth. And yes, it has the typical macro pale lager sweetness, along with grains and fruitiness, as well as a little bitterness. A bit thin in the mouth, quite smooth, and the flavor finishes as it started, not giving you much bitterness here either. And I almost forgot to mention there’s some cooked vegetables in the aroma. To sum it up; I totally agree with Yngwie (and would never be able to write so much shit about this boring beer on my own)
gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 3, 2008 Can. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, apple, citrus. Flavour is fruit, malt, apple, citrus. thin body. Boring beer. Rune (1804), Tromsø, Norway Jul 1, 2008 500ml can while watching Germany vs Spain. Tall soapy, white head with short duration. Pale golden body. Light malty nose with hints of sweetness. Flavour contains weak elements of fruits like dry apples and late banana towards the finish. Watered and foamy mouthfeel. Very vapid. Great Spanish football, poor Norwegian beer. (Stokmarknes, 29.06.2008). larsga (2293), Oslo, Norway Jun 15, 2008 Medium white head quickly fills with holes then shrinks. Yellow body. Malty apple aroma with hop notes and maybe a little yeast. Dryish watery apple and malts taste with some sweetness. Very neutral. No real aftertaste, just some yeast notes. Overall inoffensive, but completely anonymous. (0.5l can from Ica Maxi.) Gr0ve (1113), Oslo, Norway Jun 14, 2008 500 ml bottle. Golden colour. Medium-sized white coarse head that clings to the glass. Delicate floral noble hop aroma. Notes of apple. Quite nice aroma. Light slightly watery mouthfeel. Neural malt flavour, quite light. Could have used more body and more malt. Low on hop bitterness, in fact there is almost none. The hop aroma is nice, but the finish is almost meaningless as it is very bland. KnutAlbert (2312), Oslo, Norway Jun 11, 2008 Canned.
Another Norwegian pale lager, this one omits details about the brewery, which is fully understandable. Cheap, thin, watery. A little malt, a little hops, but too little of everything except water.
