Draft at brewpub. Smooth light to medium body with a light chocolate maltiness. A translucent brown with amber light on th edge of pint glass. Nose is of dry malts. Sparse legs and weaker carbonation. flat but abrupt sharp fisnish. A good drinking brew with lunch but no earthshaking going on here.

The beer pours a clear dark brown color. Aroma is toffee, sweat, and candied. Has some diacetyl but it works well with the sweetness of the aroma. Taste is clean and light with some porter sweetness.
Brewpub sampler.

Deep dark brown in color with a nice tan head. Very nice and roasty caramel aroma and flavor. Caramel notes. Hoppy. Nice hop bitterness. Sweet. Full bodied. Decent.

Pours dark brown, with good off white head and lacing. Aroma of malt and coffee. Tastes malty, with slight chocolate, roastiness, and creamyness at the finish.

On Draft at the Brewpub, NY, April 2004: Little creamy layer of a head on the dark brown colored brew. Chocolate and espresso nose. Mocca and chocolate taste, but something interferes it.
