beastiefan2k (1101), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Dec 22, 2007 The beer pours a clear light copper color. Aroma is bark, some sweet apple/rotten fruits, with some hops trying to break through. Taste is mineral and vegetal with a light body. Brewpub sampler. grandet (306), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 18, 2007 Umm not the best bitter I have tasted, not very bitter or hoppy, but, nice and smooth with soft carbonation. Not bad lo_carboy (114), USA Jul 26, 2007 I wasn’t going to rate this beer because I believed what I received was not representative of what the brewmaster intended. However, after sending it back as undrinkable I was told by the waitress that 4 other people has tasted it and that 3 of those people made a face while the front end manager said the beer was supposed to taste the way it did. It tasted like it was brewed in a dirty diaper pail. There was a bit of a sour flavor up front and a diaper pail aftertaste. The beer looked nice and there was some lacing from the few sips I had. I feel that there was a problem with the yeast. Beyond that the beer was bitter, but had no flavor from the middle addition of hops nor any hop aroma. A very poor effort that should be poured down the sewer. tiggmtl (4180), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Nov 30, 2005 Very low, sweet, soapy, floral, lavender aroma. Clear copper coloured body is topped by a fine bubbled white head. Mildly bitter floral, soapy hops with stale notes of cardboard. Medium light body with soft carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub with Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere.
