does not count  Sep 23, 2007 cheap, strong, nasty cider- second only to strongbow super. i like it because it’s cheap, but i wouldn’t order it in front of anyone i was seeking to impress.

It looks like a new age unwooded chardonnay in the glass if it weren’t for the scrambling wash of bubbles that audibly came to atmosphere. Its drawn urine coloured body was so clear I could see my fingerprints through the glass when held an inch away from it. Smells of rotting, fleshy apple puree and something in there worse still. The palate is quite flat, almost like the can has been left open to air for a few hours. Off aromatics carry into the mouth, its like human body odour and its quite pronounced. Not much apple here at all, the added sugar turned quickly to alcohol making it light as a feather on the palate and watery thin. Finish cleans up somewhat and is shockingly soda water-like, quite dry. That’s it, thats all there is, an off flavour in alcoholic water. Ugghhh!!!! (44cL, L6254, Jandakot liquor)
