skoisirius (477), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 19, 2008 On tap at the brewery. You know, I don’t say this often, but this Kolsch I really liked! See through gold as it should be, with a very light watery malt aroma with a bit of butter. Flavor is smooth and simple with light fruit malts that swiftly gives way to a grass heavy hop bite that lingers in the finish. Seriously...the finish is great! fakepurseninja (489), Sammamish, Washington, USA Nov 25, 2007 Not bad. Not good. Just about as average as beer can be. Almost no flavor. Pretty thin mouthfeel. Slightly lemon grass essence with very sour finish. Really thin malt, maybe a little banana twist - really not much here. oldrtybastrd (1512), Morlautern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Dec 23, 2006 Pours a golden yellow/amber. Aromas of lemon, grains, celery. Flavor is crisp, dry, sweet malt, and a mild hop. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA May 2, 2006 Pale yellow with lively carbonation. Creamy head. Sweet aromas of bubblegum with some butter and a touch of funk. Flavor visits the bubblegum again with a musky malt back. Slightly bitter with some sour notes. Finishes dry and husky.
tomciccateri (447), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Oct 13, 2005 On draught at the brewery. A clear straw color, well carbonated with a light white head and soft mouthfeel. Very slight hop crispness and slight dry hoppy finish after the clean pale malt flavor. Light and clean, but little to grab your attention.
