| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Golden bodied with a thin white head. Nice floral nose of NW citrus hops, we are near Yakima after all. Malts give a slight taste of honey but are quickly overtaken by the piny bitter finish. Pretty nice IPA and best of the sampler. I could see this surviving in Portland even with our over-run of IPAs. carruthm (1179), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Nice citrus hop aroma, deep orange with small-ish white head, nice lacing. Flavor and palate are a bit thin, promise is much greater than delivery. Seems like there’s some definite room for improvement, which I mean in a positive way. jbrus (4905), Delft, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Bottle@Home. Floral, fruity and grassy aroma. Light hazy, pale yellow colour, good lace. Sweet, bitter, fruity, grassy finish. Bit thinnish. Nice beer but nothing special. after4ever (2839), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 10, 2009 Draft at Naked City. The stout and barleywine from IH are such delights that it would be delightful to be able to report that the IPA is equally kick-ass. But it’s not quite at their level yet. Pours a fairly clear bright orangey amber. Thin creamy tan head. Biggish earthy pitted tree fruit notes--apricot, peach. Creamy, medium body. Doughy malts, peach, apricot. Finishes a bit sweet. Not a big bomb, so why the sweetness? Not a crisp refresher, so why the lightness? This beers seems caught in between IPA and DIPA, and it ends up being done no favors by the predicament. fishingnet (1047), Brandon, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 25, 2009 On tap at the brewery and in the bottle. I liked the bottled version a little better so that’s the rating I’m going to give. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger off white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is full of citrus hops with some sweet malt underneath and a hint of caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and smooth alcohol. This beer is way under rated. One of the better IPA’s that I have had from the Northwest. skoisirius (588), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a faint and darker golden yellow. Aroma is fairly malty...tiny bits of bitterness exist in the pine realm. A tiny bit watery, but holds true to the bitter nature and blast you with a bunch of Amarillo hops through the body and well into the finish. A tiny bit of honey is noted as my palate is overtaken by bitter bitter bitter, great lingering finish. Not the best IPA, but they know where they’re going. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA
