Commercial Description:
This wheat beer is styled after the German Hefe Weizen beers. The term Hefe Weizen refers to wheat beer that has yeast (Hefe) in it. It is cloudy and opaque with light wheat notes. It is very low in hop bitterness and hop flavor. This beer is light to medium bodied with a noticeable fruit character and displays some yeasty, breadlike notes. It’s great with a slice of lime. Palouse Wheat Ale is available in draft only. Alcohol content: 4.0% by volume

Had this on tap at Santiago’s Mexican restaurant in Yakima. This was easily the ugliest beer I’ve ever seen. Looked thicker than mud and was a completely opaque beige color. I’m completely down with unfiltered beers, but this was ridiculous. Other than that, a pretty standard Wheat beer. Banana bubblegum and clove. Perfectly drinkable. . . as long as you closed your eyes.
