Commercial Description: The Pasco Porter is a robust porter with a deep ruby red color that derives its dark color from caramel and chocolate malts instead of roasted and black malts normally found in stouts. This is a medium-bodied beer with fruity esters that are proportionally balanced with hop bitterness character. It is 7.1 % alcohol by volume and has 48 International Bittering Units. Pasco Porter is available only in draft at the Ice Harbor Brewing Company® tasting room and at select establishments throughout the Tri-Cities.
Pours a nice dark reddish brown. Aromas of coffee/chocolate and tobacco. Flavor has a nice smokey coffee taste. Some subtle hops at the finish.
